Position Summary

The primary responsibilities include reviewing, analyzing, and enhancing web services and applications to meet our evolving business demands. This entails writing, testing, debugging, and documenting high-quality code that aligns with our strategic objectives. The role involves active participation in our DevOps culture, emphasizing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) to streamline and improve our development workflows. Employees will be tasked with evaluating system capabilities and collaborating closely with various departments to understand their needs, thereby designing and implementing effective, scalable solutions. Additionally, you will provide expertise in software system programming, including system upgrades, enhancements, and installations, ensuring optimal performance and security.

The role requires effective communication and collaboration with different company departments to assess programming needs and support the implementation of new systems, contributing to the overall technological advancement of our organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and scalable code using HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS.
  • Design and implement responsive and secure web application user interfaces using front-end frameworks such as Angular, ReactJS, Vue, or similar.
  • Show a willingness to learn and apply new technologies, including Blazor WebAssembly, as part of our ongoing commitment to modernizing our tech stack.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an agile Scrum environment to define, design, and ship new features with a security-first mindset.
  • Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring technical feasibility, optimal performance, and security.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
  • Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, incorporating security best practices.
  • Utilize Azure cloud services, ensuring secure deployment and management of web applications.
  • Develop and maintain backend services using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, with an emphasis on secure coding practices.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of OpenID Connect (OIDC) for secure user authentication and authorization in web applications.

RELATED DUTIES:

  • Assists in day-to-day help desk support for the company and members.
  • Prepare reports of programming activities, identify procedural changes and impact.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by Director, Software Engineering

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Programming, Computer Science.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar development role, with a strong emphasis on web security.
  • Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular, ReactJS, Vue, etc.).
  • A strong desire to learn and master new technologies, specifically Blazor and WebAssembly.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum team.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services and secure deployment practices.
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices with a security focus.
  • GIT or Similar version control systems

Position Summary

Job Function: Sr. Network Security Engineer designs, plans, installs, and supports network and communications systems with an emphasis on Security Engineering to maintain the company’s overall security posture and to defend against cyber-attacks.

  • Involved in a wide range of issues including secure architectures, secure electronic data traffic, and networks.
  • Ensures correct function of network security monitoring tools.
  • Monitors anomalous security activity, reports, and supports resolution; while performing follow-up tasks, documentation, and feedback.
  • Performs as a team member on the IT while working in tandem with Risk Management and Compliance and Security Operations teams in a day-to-day operation of critical network and platform security infrastructure.
  • Assists in implementing security tools, procedures, and measures in the network security environment.
  • This individual recognizes and identifies potential threats to the network and systems connected to the network from the Internet and Intranet
  • Must understand the site and enterprise well enough to work through network-related issues with other segments at the facility and across the enterprise.
  • This position reports to the Director, IT Systems Engineering.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for company computing, storage, networks, communications, and data with focus on security.
  • Ensure company compliance with focus on NIST CSF.
  • Develop high-level plans, security policies and procedures to ensure alliance with the business and IT objectives.
  • Design and implement access controls to protect systems and sensitive data from unauthorized access.
  • Stays current with emerging threats and recommend new technologies and mitigations to prevent attacks.
    Engage and work with various security vendors for services, software, solutions, etc. that are provided by those vendors to augment IT’s security environment or for new IT Security services and products.
  • Responsible for overseeing vulnerability mitigations, establishing key metrics for reporting, baseline hardening, and continuous development of security posture.
  • Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard operating within corporate’s risk appetite.
  • Monitor network infrastructure/systems for security threats, establish procedures for identifying and isolating threats, reducing threats/attack surface.
  • Serve as an internal resource for investigating security breaches and assessing their damage, gathering root cause, preparing breach notification communication, and establishing chain of custody for forensics.
  • Establishing, monitoring, and enforcing the security programs of all informational platforms, software selection, including both physical and electronic.
  • Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management practices.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects related to IT security.
