We are currently recruiting for a Senior Full Stack Developer.

Position Summary for Senior Full Stack Developer

Primary responsibility to review, analyzes and develop (code) programs/web services that support business needs including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. Supports and/or installs software applications, DevOps continuous integration continuous deployment. Review systems capabilities and user department needs to design effective support processing programs. Provide software system programming, i.e., system upgrades/enhancements and installations. Confer with other company departments to review programming needs and assist with implementation of new systems. Being a lead technical resource for junior developers.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors Degree in Programming, Computer Science.

SENIOR FULL STACK DEVELOPER – SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Technical knowledge of personal computer networks, Local Area Network (LAN) and electronic member system
  • Secure coding practices- OWASP guidelines (Open Web Application Security Project)
  • Technical competence and strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of hardware and software system modification/fix techniques
  • Ability to produce accurate systems documentation of modifications/fix/upgrades
  • Minimum of 10+ years programming experience
  • Knowledge of related technologies
     
    • C# (internal programming language)
    • JavaScript and/or TypeScript
    • ASP.Net (MVC, Razor, WebForms) (MVC-Model, View, Control (a pattern))
    • .NET Framework 4.8, .NET Core 3.1, .NET 6.0+
    • WCF, WebAPI (Application Programming Interface)
    • Entity Framework and/or Dapper ORM (Object-relational Mapping)
    • LINQ (Language Integrated Query)
    • General MS SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procs, Indexing) (Microsoft)

SENIOR FULL STACK DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical support to user departments; resolve questions of program intent, output requirements. Correct program, procedures documentation and data files as necessary.
  • Write, modify and maintain secure code for business applications. Install new releases and maintain current release of applications. Identify functional application errors and devise a recommended solution.
  • Prepare program test data, analyze test results and create product back log items to remedy the discovered bugs.
  • Document new applications and develop procedures, functional manuals for operation
  • Design, code and document relational database functions and structures.

RELATED DUTIES:

  • Assists in day-to-day help desk support for the company and members.
  • Prepare reports of programming activities, identify procedural changes and impact.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by Software Development Manager.

Position Summary for Financial Services Business Development Representative

Working in conjunction with Management, the incumbent will develop and maintain a strong trusted advisor relationship with key credit union stakeholders and executives to fully understand their business strategy and measurements for success with integrity and reliability. Identify and develop new opportunities for expanding member growth and product penetration. Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals and stated strategic initiatives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct in-person and/or virtual visits and communication with potential and existing members
  • Increase member portfolio depth and relationship “stickiness”
  • Improve product and service penetration and profitability
  • Forecast, maintain, and track key account metrics
  • Obtain knowledge of VolCorp products and services for member demonstration
  • Prepare detailed cost analysis/proposals and close opportunities
  • Track sales funnel status and member relationship activity within VolCorp’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Attend events affiliated with Credit Union Movement e.g. leagues, chapter meetings, conferences, etc.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or equivalent relevant experience with 5+ years’ progressive business development and/or financial services industry experience.

Position Summary for Senior Database Architect/Administrator:

Primary responsibility to Create, Maintain and Backup relational sql databases. Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of data assets. Propose and implement enhancements to improve the performance of the systems.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical support to user departments; resolve questions of program intent, output requirements. Correct program, procedures documentation and data files as necessary.
  • Monitor Database performance. Validate Backups and maintenance plans. Create Stored Procedures. Design Relational Databases. Assist in SQL Server Migrations. Audit User access. Assist in debugging permissions and protocol and firewall issues in connectivity from dot net programs to SQL. Script database, Index and permissions creation.
  • Prepare program test data, Anonymize Production data for testing.
  • Document DBA procedures and tasks.
  • Help Design Data structures for BI Reporting

RELATED DUTIES:

  • Assists in day-to-day help desk support for the company and members.
  • Prepare reports of programming activities, identify procedural changes and impact.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by Director of Software Development.
