VolCorp specializes in dynamic payment solutions, tailor-made investment products, and incomparable member care; all in pursuit of timeless principles – partnership, commitment, stability, and honor – that motivate every decision we make. Dedicated to the growth of its member institutions, and in turn the communities they support, VolCorp wants to be the first call credit unions make – every time, for every need.
Our History
Founded in 1981 by a special act of the Tennessee State Legislature, Volunteer Corporate Credit Union (VolCorp) is a not-for-profit financial cooperative headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. Amassing a number of accomplishments and other additions in four decades of service and counting, VolCorp went on to complete successful mergers with both the West Virginia Corporate Credit Union in 2012 and the Kentucky Corporate Credit Union in 2014. Both institutions – including their celebrated histories, strong reputations, and established memberships – naturally complimented and strengthened VolCorp’s reach across the region. In 2015, VolCorp developed and launched vPortfolio, their very own full-service investor platform. Symphony, VolCorp’s wholly owned CUSO specializing in consulting, compliance, audit, and risk-based services, was created in 2021.
We’ve spent years building a reputation of service that matches our Volunteer State home, with an undying appreciation for where we started, we look forward to our years of service still to come.
