Consulting Services

In today’s competitive landscape, a solid understanding of who you are, what you do, and where you’re going is imperative to your credit union’s future success. To achieve a solid understanding of your present and future direction, you must continually plan, analyze, review, and report your financial and operational condition.

VolCorp’s Consulting Service offers experienced staff and a broad base of services that will provide the necessary tools to help you plan, direct, and control your credit union’s future.

Strategic Planning

VolCorp offers a strategic planning package to facilitate and document your next planning session. Rates are based on your asset size, and range in price from $1,500.00 to $4,000.00. VolCorp’s skilled strategic planning facilitators begin the process by coordinating directly with you to custom design a questionnaire for your management team and Board. VolCorp will compile the results of your questionnaires, and then incorporate the results into a custom designed presentation to provide focus and direction as you set goals for the upcoming year. VolCorp’s planning sessions provide current market data and demographics to help you identify trends and opportunities within the industry. Incorporating current trends and peer group comparisons, VolCorp will assist your management team and Board as they discuss the current issues facing your credit union and set goals. Upon conclusion of your planning session, VolCorp will prepare and submit a detailed business plan documenting the results of your planning session.

When it’s all said and done, VolCorp will be there for you every step of the way to ensure that your planning session provides relevant information and the structure that you need to set SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely) goals for the future.

Family Disaster Planning

No one likes to think about natural disasters, especially in light of everything going on with the economy. But preparing your family ahead of time for the disasters that might affect you or your community is not only a good idea, it is your responsibility. After all, in the words of Howard Ruff, “it wasn’t raining when Noah built the ark.”

VolCorp can actually help you with this daunting task. Our consulting department has speakers available to speak at chapter meetings, league conventions and workshops, manager association meetings, staff training, and other credit union functions. Each presentation is customized to address the natural disasters most likely to affect your area. In addition to discussing the four common steps to creating a family disaster plan, our customized presentation also provides you with important preparedness tips. Last but not least, VolCorp’s customized presentation includes a Family Disaster Planning Template that you can use to prepare and document a personalized disaster plan for your family. If you are interested in learning more about this service, please click here to view a free webinar titled “Family Disaster Planning.” You can also contact our Marketing Department at ext. 3 for additional information, or to schedule a speaking engagement.
