Bruce Fahnestock Retires;
Rick Veach Named Acting CEO

Volunteer Corporate Credit Union (VolCorp) announces the retirement of A. Bruce Fahnestock
as CEO, effective, April 28, 2006. With the best interests of our members always at the forefront of any decision, Mr. Fahnestock successfully positioned VolCorp to be an innovative leader in the Corporate Credit Union Network. He has also been active in serving the Association of Corporate Credit Unions (ACCU), US Central and NASCUS organizations in various leadership capacities.
According to W. Blake Strickland, Board Chairman, “It has been an honor working with one of the most ardent credit union supporters that truly believes in our movement. His leadership will be missed by all, but it is with confidence that we will continue to serve our members from the solid foundation that has been established by Bruce.”
Albert P. (Rick) Veach has been named by the Board of Directors as Acting CEO. Rick joined VolCorp in 2002 as Chief Financial Officer and has over 30 years of financial institution management experience, including positions as Executive Vice President with SunTrust Bank of Chattanooga and Senior Vice President with First American Bank of Nashville. He received his MBA degree from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University and a BS degree from the University of Tennessee.
VolCorp has over $1 billion in total assets and has a national field of membership.
