“Flight Path to Peak Performance”
at 15th Annual Economic Forum
7/08/05
NASHVILLE - - Utilizing an aviation theme, VolCorp continues its tradition of expertise with a “top gun” crew of special guest speakers and strategies in order to help our credit unions reach “peak performance.” This year’s 15th Annual Economic Forum will be held on August 18-19, 2005 at the Airport Embassy Suites in Nashville, Tennessee. VolCorp will be kicking off this two-day event with special “flight training” courses on VolCorp products and services not to mention the “secondary missions” that include a golf rendezvous, a tour of the city, and a chance to “earn your wings” at dinner at the famed 101st Airborne Restaurant adjacent to Nashville’s Airport.
Day two offers a series of valuable presentations from our “top gun” crew of special guest speakers on a variety of timely economic issues. Ms. Kathleen Bostjancic, Director and Senior U.S. Economist with Merrill Lynch is this year’s keynote speaker presenting the latest in economic issues related to our credit union member. We are also privileged to have Mr. Timothy White, National Risk Specialist with Bankers Toolbox, addressing issues regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act and OFAC concerns. Speaking on computer security concerns is one of VolCorp’s own, Mr. David Wagner, Security Analyst. Back by popular demand is Dr. William Ford, Weatherford Chair of Finance with Middle Tennessee State University, who regaled attendees last year with his humorous dialog concerning investing in the current economy. Wrapping up the day will be Mr. David Dickens, Senior Vice President, Asset/Liability Management with U.S. Central Credit Union with his ALM expertise.
