Volunteer Corporate Welcomes
New Directors and Officers to Board

NASHVILLE - - Volunteer Corporate Credit Union (VolCorp) recently held its annual meeting with board elections in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The following officers were elected to its board:
Blake Strickland, Chairman (Tennessee Valley Federal CU); Wayne Hope, Vice Chairman (K-25 FCU);
David Atkinson, Treasurer (Eastman CU); Karen Jordan, Secretary (P & G Jackson Employees Federal CU). Other current board members include:
Robert Arick, Director (Memphis Publishing Co. CU) and Wanda Mason, Director (The CU for Robertson County). Three new directors joined the board this year -
Dave Mullican, Rose Melton and Hank Flury.
Dave Mullican has been the Manager/CEO of Chattanooga Federal Employees Credit Union in Chattanooga, Tennessee since 1999. Mr. Mullican began working in the credit union industry in 1976 as a branch manager with Combustion Federal Credit Union and has worked with several credit unions during his credit union career. Mr. Mullican has also served on the VolCorp Supervisory Committee for the past four years. Among his community activities, Mr. Mullican serves as a deacon for Hixson First Baptist Church and is also on the Board of Directors for the church sponsored daycare center. Dave also enjoys leading mission trips to Greece where he coordinates baseball clinics.
Rose Melton is manager of Gateway Credit Union in Clarksville, Tennessee. Ms. Melton has been employed with Gateway Credit Union since 1992, and was promoted to manager in 1995. Ms. Melton served as manager of Trane Southern Federal Credit Union from 1982 – 1992. For the past three years, Ms. Melton has served as Secretary of the Trustees Committee for Salem United Methodist Church.
Hank Flury, President/CEO of Educators Credit Union in Nashville, Tennessee, has served within his credit union for twenty-six years. In 2000, he was promoted to his current CEO position. A long-time resident of Nashville, Mr. Flury holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, as well as graduating from the Southeastern Regional Credit Union Graduate Management School at the University of Alabama. Mr. Flury also serves on the Foundation Board at Nashville State Community College.
