Volunteer Corporate Credit Union

About VolCorp

Our Purpose

Our Mission:
To serve as the primary financial partner with
credit unions in providing superior products, services and support.

Who is VolCorp?

Volunteer Corporate Credit Union (VolCorp) is a not-for-profit financial cooperative that serves natural person credit unions nationally. We were organized for the express purpose of providing low-cost financial services and competitive investment and lending rates to our member/owners, and are guided by a volunteer board of directors (see Member Services for a complete list of services).

VolCorp is totally owned and directed by our member credit unions. Profit is not the driving force; rather VolCorp exists solely for the benefit of our member credit unions, which is a significant difference from other financial institutions.

Chartered by the State

VolCorp was created by a Special Act of the State Legislature in April, 1981. Membership is limited to credit unions and organizations of credit unions.

Part of the Network

VolCorp is a member of the Corporate Credit Union Network composed of 27 Corporates across the country and US Central. At the end of 2007, VolCorp had assets of over $1.2 billion and 273 member credit unions.
