Software Developer

Skills:

  • Design, develop, test and maintain elements of an n-tier application, using various tools and technologies, including ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, MS SQL.
  • Explain and document application design
  • Work effectively as part of a development team with minimal supervision.

Job description:

Volunteer Corporation Credit Union, is seeking an entry to intermediate level .Net Software Developer.

Successful candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science (Degree may be waived with significant related and demonstrable work experience); Programming background in the financial industry and credit union background preferred. Engage with end users to develop requirements, design, test and implement new and existing solutions which support our core web delivery platform. A minimum of two to four years experience in an IS professional development capacity, recently working on client server technologies in an object oriented environment; possess a high degree of familiarity and understanding of the current trends and directions of information systems and related technologies. Able to work with the standard MS office tools in addition to a working familiarity with Microsoft desktop and server operating systems, IIS, MS SQL, .NET environment.
