I.T. Technical Support Engineer
Job description:
Volunteer Corporate Credit Union, located in Nashville, TN, has an immediate opening for an IT Technical Support Engineer.
The candidate will act as a software/hardware support engineer to internal staff and to our member credit unions by providing technical assistance.
Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of software applications. Stage and install computer hardware.
Perform hardware/software upgrades to existing computer equipment as needed. Will be involved in training system users.
As our member credit unions are throughout the state of TN and bordering states, the position will require minimal travel.
Requirements:
- A.S. Degree in Computer related field plus two years relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience that enables
performance of all aspects of the position
- Excellent working knowledge of personal computers and peripherals is required
- Must have strong communication and training skills
- Ablilty to communicate technical information to non-technical users and to
work independently
