VolCorp Welcomes Congressman Ford to 14th Annual Economic Forum Line-Up

7/12/04

NASHVILLE, TN–VolCorp welcomes Congressman Harold Ford, Jr. as a featured speaker at their 14th Annual Economic Forum on August 26-27, 2004 to be held at the Marriott in Nashville, Tennessee. Congressman Ford was sworn in to represent the Ninth District of Tennessee in 1996 at age 26, and is now serving in his fourth term in the House. He recently participated in a morning meeting with a group of credit union leaders across the state of Tennessee and continues to make himself available for other credit union groups and programs.

Additionally, a series of valuable presentations on a variety of timely economic issues rounds out the program. VolCorp’s keynote speaker is Mr. Ray Chandonnet who is a Senior Vice President with Lehman Brothers, Inc. heading up the Bank Specialist Group in the Fixed Income Division. Also on VolCorp’s agenda will be Mr. Timothy Hornbrook, Associate Regional II Director of Programs for NCUA and Mr. Kevin P. Lavender, Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions. Wrapping up the day will be Professor William F. Ford who holds the Weatherford Chair of Finance in the College of Business School at Middle Tennessee State University.

See 2004 Forum for additional details regarding this event.
