Volunteer Corporate (VolCorp) Rolls Out New Cash Vault Program

NASHVILLE, TN – VolCorp announced its partnership with Loomis Fargo & Co. (LF&Co.) to offer a new cash system for the ordering and shipping of currency and coin to their member credit unions. Utilizing LF&Co.’s expertise in cash handling systems, VolCorp is offering members the capability of ordering currency based on their individual cash requirements with no set minimum currency order. Coin can be purchased by the box and shipped back loose, in any quantity. Credit unions will also have the option to order cash multiple days per week with next day and same day deliveries available.
According to A. Bruce Fahnestock, III, VolCorp CEO, “We are committed to searching for efficiencies and cost saving programs which VolCorp can offer to help our member credit unions. Partnering with LF& Co., is an excellent example of this commitment.”
VolCorp’s pilot program begins in April 2004 with Nashville area credit unions. Expansion of the program will continue in Knoxville, Chattanooga and Memphis throughout the year.
